Get involved
If you’d like to get involved with UP and our work, there are loads of ways to help. You can come to one of our fundraising events, assist us by distributing information about depression or help with fundraising by organising your own events.
To find out more about what your money will go towards, read about our projects.
Get the word out
At UP our mission is to raise awareness of depression among young people, so that when help is needed we all know where to turn. One of the easiest ways to show your support us is to tell your friends and family about us. You can send a link to our site here.
Get fundraising
Fundraising events are at the heart of what we do. All our projects are funded by our supporters, through fundraising events and direct donations. We want our events to be things that would interest young people: gigs, film screenings, comedy, sport and nights out.
As well as raising money our events are about raising awareness of depression. We’ll be broadcasting details of all our upcoming events: you can find out more about events here.
Get thinking
We want to hear your fundraising ideas too: you might like to run your own event, or if you work for a company that wants to get involved, they could make UP a nominated charity. Plus there are plenty of ways to raise sponsorship: we can enter you for the London Marathon, or you might prefer to take part in an event of your choice such as the Three Peaks Challenge or the Great North Run.
If you have any ideas, questions or suggestions please contact us for more information.
Donations
All the money raised by UP goes to CWMT, a registered charity (no. 1109984).
If you’d like to make a direct donation to CWMT, you can do this securely online through JustGiving, where you can also increase your donation’s value via Gift Aid. Or you can send a cheque, made payable to:
The Charlie Waller Memorial Trust
16a High Street

Thank you for your support.
